We have an active WhatsApp group, dedicated to Club news and organising rowing sessions. In addition, we have groups for our Social Events subgroup, Regattas, one off competitions (Monster the Loch, Castle to Crane), Trustees and Coxes subgroups. COVID-19 Updates for SDCRC

SDCRC Covid Infographic poster

Our club’s Covid officer is Hazel Ingles. The trustees and Hazel finalised our risk assessment and policy, and this has been emailed to members (also available on the Covid 19 page of this website).

Some things we will ask of you-

Masks must be worn pre and post launch,

Gloves are required when in contact with the boat.

Footwear and clothing that can get wet to the knees will be necessary, as we will be floating the boat onto launch trolley.

Lastly, we will ask all rowers to consent to the club notifying all other rowers in the skiff, if positive Covid symptoms are reported. The name of the symptomatic person will not be given to members being advised to self isolate, but we are a small club and it can be worked out. Therefore we ask your consent in advance, so that we can inform members of possible exposure, as early as possible. Please be advised that booking onto a row via team up indicates consent.
